Budongo Forest.

While in one of the most visited parks, visitors get to gaze at these amazing creatures while they flock Budongo forest reserve. The epic waterfall-based park has a chance of 80% of viewing these wondrous primates after trekking for about one hour.

Budongo forest reserve allows visitors to enjoy chimpanzees for 1 full hour or more hours (4) if you engage in a chimpanzee habituation experience.

Kyambura Gorge in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park’s Kyambura Gorge also boast of these amazing apes even though there are only 17 individuals in the forest. Kyambura, also known as the valley of apes offers over 80% chance of spotting chimpanzees in their natural habitat.

Chimpanzee trekking in Rwanda

In Rwanda, chimpanzee trekking is done in Nyungwe National Park in its prestigious lush vegetation of Cyamudongo and Uwinka forests. Each of the forests has a chimpanzee family with about 40 members that visitors can sight.

The months of July and late September get to experience an iconic animal migration in the famous plains of Serengeti National Park in northern Tanzania. The Maranga route is considered the easiest, Machame is the most scenic, Lemosho route is considered having the highest success rates, Rongai offers high chances of spotting wildlife, Shira route offers a higher altitude than the previous ones, the northern circuit is as well scenic but quite expensive and Umbwa happens to be the most difficult even though it is the shortest probably because of being the steepest route of them all. This exciting hike on top of Kilimanjaro Mountain starts off with warm welcome by local Tanzanian guide and the climax is typical snow.
